Samsung Galaxy S5 16GB Sprint
Pros
- Full-HD screen
- Excellent battery life
- Powerful Quad-Core processor
- High-quality cameras
- Intuitive customized interface
Cons
- Fingerprint scanner can be finicky
- Unexciting design
Bottom Line
While the Galaxy s5 may be older, it still offers a competitive performance compared to other mid-tier phones being released today.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is a bestselling 2014 smartphone that received positive reviews for its fantastic Full-HD screen, excellent battery life, a powerful Quad-Core processor, high-quality cameras and an intuitive customized interface on top of the Android KitKat operating system. However, some reviewers noted the upgrades from its predecessor weren’t significant, its fingerprint scanner can be finicky at times and the design is unexciting compared to other top smartphones of 2014. While the Galaxy S5 doesn’t have the sharpest design, it is still a premium phone that is superior to many of its competitors due to its host of smart features and strong specs.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 fits happily into the role of Galaxy S4 successor. It's a phone with some significant improvements over that model. It lacks the style of its nearest rivals, but it more than delivers on every other point and has a truly oustanding screen.
